Sweating problem?

My problem is I do and always have sweated quite a lot. Once I went to a doctor and he described it as extreme or hyper sweating. Usually it does not cause a problem except for situations where I will have to shake hands or touch something in view of people. Is there something that safely prevents sweating?

A little background info...

I tried the Drionic system but that really became a chore to electricute yourself for 30 minutes each night.

I tried Drysol with gloves as recommended but then people advised the gloves could lead to me developing an alergic reaction and now I hear drysol by itself could cause problems

I was on Rubinol for a short while? Maybe I should try to get back on? Anything else out there?

You need to change your diet.
Reply:Wow Ive never thought about it,till now.
Reply:I am not clear if this is mostly your hands and armpits that are over sweating .. or your whole body ? If it is sweating all over your body ..Ask a Dermetologist about a medication called: Glycopyrrol. 2mg. morning / 2mg. night. Apparently it used to be used for people who were being treated for ulcers, but has a side affect of keeping the body dry. Good Luck ! :)
Reply:not sure but i found this site

Reply:I highly recommend a product called Certain Dri. You can buy it just about anywhere that regular anti-perspirant is sold. You apply it at night (your skin has to be completely dry). It shrinks your pores overnight and keeps you from sweating for up to 72 hours. I have read that it can be used on the palms of your hands, too. This product really works!
Reply:With the Drionic machine you can do two 30 minute sessions each day... on average you have to do 7-9 hours (a few have to do up to 10 hours of it but 7 worked for me) of the treatment before it will work... then after a week or so only do a one hour treatment weekly to keep it from coming back.

I know it seems like a lot, but at least you will not have to use any medication. once you get those 7-9 hours out of the way, using it once a week isn't so bad.

now, in case you are interested, I saw this product claiming to stop sweat for 7 days at a time and it won't break your bank:
