Huge sweating problem?

This past school year I developed a huge sweating problem. I sweat excessively from my armpits, causing me to have huge sweat stains, which makes me very self-conscious. I don't sweat excessively from anywhere but my armpits, and I don't know why. I use shower regularly and use deodorant (I've tried several different types and even antiperspirant, but none have worked). I am not fat at all and I don't eat very bad foods. I am sick of this problem and I'd like to eliminate it completely before the school year starts. What's going on? Can someone please help me and suggest what I should do?

Huge sweating problem?
When I was your age I used to have the same problem. I couldn't wear certain kinds of shirts and clothes because I would sweat right through it. I had to wear a little bit baggy shirts. I hated it! It was so embarrassing and was the worst thing to have to deal with, all i wished for in life was for that problem to go away. What I started doing was using stronger deodorant, like a man's deodorant (fregrance free so you dont smell like a man), and buy some powder. Just like a wall greens or something, they have powder that smells nice and you pull some in your hand and pat it on your pit. Keeps it dry for a little while longer than without. And you smell nice. I eventually grew out of it, and I don't have that problem anymore. I suppose it only lasted through puberty. Once I hit 17 or 18 it stopped being so bad. Still light powder helps, and a strong deodorant. I feel for you because you used to be me! Wear clothes that are made from fabrics that don't show it as badly, and stay away from silky shirts. If you just started it this past school year, your probably just like me. You'll probably grow out of it and wont have to worry about it anymore. Hang in there! Just do those tips and you'll be OK. It's something a lot of us have had to deal with! So no matter if it seems this way or not, you're not alone with this problem.Good luck!
Reply:Avoid pungent foods such as onions, fish, garlic and spicy meals. These foods can be smelt in sweat and make it more noticeable.

Malt vinegar is an old-fashioned remedy that might be worth a try. Apply some to your armpits at night. Wash it off in the morning and then use your normal deodorant/antiperspirant.

Also have a chat with your doctor
Reply:consult ur dr.
Reply:i use secret clinical i used to sweat a lot too and this deoderant really works!!!
Reply:I'm a guy in his mid-30's so my answer may not apply. Take with a grain of salt I suppose...

I have a huge sweating problem that started in High School.. I suppose it was because I was always "nervous" about being around girls. In my professional days it's translated to problems when giving important presentations. So, the first advice is to "accept" the fact that you have a sweating problem. It took me a long time (and there are days now that I still wish I didn't have it)

Second, I've noticed by drinking lots of water I can reduce my body temperature significantly. It doesn't matter if it's really cold water, but hot water doesn't work for me though I've heard some chinese like to drink hot water during the summer and it helps them stop sweating...

By the way, I realized drinking water helps when drinking water after I work out... I sweat a lot after a workout (as I suppose most normal people do) but when I drank water I seemed to stop sweating sooner.

Good luck!
Reply:I have the same problem as well, I sweat very easily. I found Arrid XX worked the best. Or a men's anti perspirant.Try to get a prescription antiperspirant also keep a small bottle of baby powder with you so you can put it on through out the day. You also may dehydrate easily too so drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. Also your body is going through a lot of hormonal changes too, you may find that ou sweat more during your period.
