Deodorant causing armpit sweating?

I've tried different brands of deodorant and antiperspirant and when I apply it, it makes my armpit sweat later on! Even if I don't sweat at all during the day from heat or exercising, my armpit alone sweats just because of the deodorant. I did an "experiment" where I stayed at home for a couple of days with no deodorant on and my armpit didn't sweat at all. Then when I applied it back, it started sweating!

What's going on here?

Deodorant causing armpit sweating?
Go without then?
Reply:it sounds like you may be having an alergic reaction to the deodorant.

i have an alergy to those clear stick deodorants. i didn't have it diagnosed, i sort of figured it out on my own.

i switched to the white deodorants and have had no problems since...
Reply:You may have some sort of reaction to that certain deodarant. I would recommend that you try solid deodorant, they usually leave you feeling super dry.
Reply:It's water. Try using a swedish underarm crystal. They are pure aluminum. You can get them online.
Reply:I'm not sure, but Certain-Dri is pretty awesome at stopping sweat. Even works during the summer when I work at camp in over 100 degree heat.
Reply:The deoderant you're using is having a bad effect on your pores, probably causing some unnoticed (or noticed) irritation to them. If the pores in your armpits are being irritated they don't close as in cold weather they open because of the heat that irritation is causing. If the deoderant is effecting your pores that way then they are probably not helping your sweat glands much either.

You could see if any other deoderant works better for you but it's probably going to be a recurring theme.
