I have a sweating problem,how do i stop it?

I sweat, at school, mostly probably from pressure and thing like that but anyway. I can't go walking aroundwith sweat stains on my shirt under my armpit. It's ok during the winter because I can just cover it up with a sweater. But now that summer's approuching i can't wear sweaters!

So how do you stop the sweat?

I've heard of anti-perspirants, do they really work, and stop my from sweating and creating sweat marks? If so what brand should i use???

Besides anti-perspirants is there anything else i could do/use?

I have a sweating problem,how do i stop it?
I'll try to make my answer stand out a little more than others.

First, YES absolutely you should use a deodorant/antiperpirant. they DO work, and they make you smell good whether you use perfume or not. :]

I have several female-friends who wear Secret. I personally like the smell on them, plus i've never seen them sweat. however they are all different, maybe buy a few and see what works!

This should definatly help. Part of it is also in your head. Don't be intimidated by others or what they do. I have found that no matter how much anitperpirant you put on (don't pile it on though) you will probably sweat a little under a lot of pressure. Just relax.

The types of clothes you wear might also have an impact on it. I'm not totally sure on this, but keep it in mind.

A little trick I've also picked up from friends and stuff is if you are sweating, go to the bathroom and wipe your armpits off. you may also want to carry a small anti-perpirant in your purse/keep in your locker/backpack..etc..etc. (gym locker if you have gym)

Good luck! Relax!!
Reply:as you get older the sweating will calm down. perspirants just cover up the smell they don't get rid of the sweat.
Reply:no there isn't, you would have to see a doctor, he may give you hormone pills which most of the time don't work for underarm sweating. he can give you prescription deodarant, but they also have a new degree clinical protection deodarent out in all stores now. that works very good.
Reply:There are clinical strength wetness protection in different deodorant brands, and also, get a little bar of deodorant and keep it in your purse during summer, for emergencies, that way you never have to worry about it. :)
Reply:I had this problem before o, ask your pharmacist for a behind the counter thing called "Drysol" you can put it on ur underarms, hands, feet, works great for me
Reply:i live by secret clinical strength antiperspirant, or you could get one prescribed by your doctor.
Reply:I just bought this anti-perspirant from Target and I found that it worked better than my old one which was Secret. The new one is called Herbal Clear natural deodorant. It's actually hypoallergenic and I found it to work better than other deodorants, and it was actually cheaper than them too. It comes in a stick and it has a yellow plastic container.

hope i've helped!
Reply:don't use clinical strength wetness protection it really doesn't work i have the same problem u do even in the winter ask your doctor.
Reply:Try secret clinical strength deoderant. It works really well.
Reply:Buy antiperspirant

Or if you really want the extreme, the doctor can snip off your armpit sweat glands. But I wouldn't recommend that unless you have excessive sweating because your parents might not like it and sweating is natural.
Reply:try eating a bit More salt each day [ don't over do it ], try it out and let me know if this helps ! have a good day , butcher......
Reply:Go to your local drug store and ask them whats best. There is a product Ive hard of that they sell that you use at night time that prevents excessive sweating, you can use it with your deodorant or anti prespirant. It comes in a small white wet roll on with red letters. So sorry I forget the name of it...but ask a pharmacist, there are LOTS of products out there that can help you with that.

:) Good Luck Kiddo!
Reply:that happens to me too sometimes. i tried a certain deodorant that was supposed to help the sweating better then other ones. and it worked for a while, but on me it stopped working lol. but the name of the deodorant is secret clinical. i hope that helps =)
