Major sweating!!!?

I know its naturall to sweat.. but most people my age (13) only sweat to a certain degree... whereas 1 sweat sooooooo much more!! i know how to deal with it.. Some anti persperent called PerspireX, which i apply at night..(every few days, when i can be bothered!) and then every morning.. i apply Michum hydro solid thing.. BUT ANYWAY.. lets try not to get too detailed.. i was just wondering if anyone else has this.. excessive sweating problem..?? Thanks for your time :)

Major sweating!!!?
Lord yes! When I was in high school my friends called me the sponge, because if I was playing basketball or something it was like I was sponge full of water that was being squeezed. I've been dealing with this since puberty, for over twenty years. I think it's because I have a high metabolism (which means that I burn a lot of calories) but also have a pretty high level of body fat. I'm skinny, but my over all percentage of my weight that is made of fat cells is a high number. (Your PE teacher might be able to help you figure out what this is.

Anyway, here's how I deal: Instead of using an antiperspirant, which literally makes your sweat glands shrink, use a deodorant. Sweating is actually a natural thing. Your body does it to cool down. (Of course you don't want to smell bad, so the deodorant lets you sweat without letting any bacteria make you smell like you are homeless.) If you don't let your body sweat, then you can get even hotter, and then your body tries harder to cool down. Voila, it tries harder to sweat more! The best thing that works for me, is to try to keep cool as much as possible, so that my body doesn't need to sweat. when other people are wearing jackets and sweaters, I'm usually wearing a t-shirt and shorts. This way my body stays colder. I'd rather have people ask me, "Aren't you cold?" than "Why are you so sweaty!" Of course, when I go for a long bike ride, or go dancing, I still sweat a lot. But exercise is important, so I just plan on taking a quick shower later and consider it normal.
Reply:yes, i have a MAJOR sweating problem (i'm 14). i used tons of different kinds of deodorants, but none ever helped. i recently started to use Mitchum, and has worked great so far. hopefully, it'll continue to work. you're not alone!
Reply:There is a condition that causes that, I don't know the name, but you could consult your doctor. Also, juvenile diabetes can be the factor. I would get it checked out, just to be safe.
